By. Himanshi Duggar

We're stuck in times of drought and distress,

And although I've got food to eat;

It doesn't make the pain any less.

The people around me have lost the water,

That comforted me during dark times.

And when I look up to them now,

All they've got are sour limes.

The nights are long and the days are too short.

The winter compels the mind insane;

Amongst the inhumanity all around,

There are some that retain.

And they tell me what I need:

One brave light,

to overcome the plight.
